MP-5 now MCERTS certified

MCERTS (Monitoring Certification Scheme) has a new category (introduced June 2008) for Environmental Monitoring Software. It is the only certification of its kind available globally.

It goes two steps further than other quality standards (e.g. ISO9000) because it includes assessments of software coding standards and procedures, as well as an assessment of functionality and data integrity rules specific to managing environmental monitoring data.

MP-5 is the first generic monitoring data management system to attain the standard.
