Incident Management

Many of our clients have a need to manage incident of various descriptions. These incidents are categorised in various ways and we provide our IMS software to focus the management processes around the Incidents which could include:

• Accidents or injuries
• Complaints / feedback
• Dangerous occurrences
• Environmental incidents or breaches
• Near misses
• Audit non-conformances
• Operators Licence (O Licence) for operating good vehicles
• Road Traffic accidents
• Security breaches (theft, vandalism etc)

Some of these are linked to statutory obligations. For example, one of the conditions of many of our customers Environmental Permits is that (under Schedule 6) they need to report to the Environment Agency (the UK regulatory body) if there is a breach of a compliance threshold, or if an incident occurs which is likely to lead to a significant breach (e.g. a failure of environmental control equipment).

What ever the nature of the incident there is a need to manage the issue according to the diagram below.

Further to this our clients also wish to report on incidents and categorise them to identify common causes and therefore focus remedial efforts.

We have now developed an application, Monitor-Pro IMS, which exists as a browser-based incident management and reporting system which provides a holistic environment in which incidents can be managed across organisations
